Affirmative/Assertive
Sentences ( स्वीकारात्मक
वाक्य)

परिभाषा
– इस प्रकार के वाक्य उन
कार्यों को दर्शाते हैं
जो कि शुरू तो
भूत काल में हुये
लेकिन अभी तक चल
रहे हैं।

पहचान

1. वाक्य
   के अन्त में रहा
   है, रही है, रहे
   हैं, रहे हो तथा
   रहा हूँ शब्द आते
   हैं।
2. अंग्रेजी
   के वाक्यों के अन्त में
   समयावधिसूचक वाक्यांश समय के अमुक
   भाग के लिये (For the period of time) अथवा अमुक निश्चित
   समयावधि के लिये (Since the period of time [accurate] ) आते हैं।

 

Rule – Subject + has / have
+ been + V (ing) + Object + since / for Time.

प्रकार –व्याकरण की सुविधा के
अनुसार इसे निम्नलिखित 3 भागों
में बाँटा जा सकता

1. Subject (III person singular) + has + been + V(ing) +
Object + for/since + Time.

2. Subject (I & II person I, We & You) + have + been
+ V (ing) +object + for/since + time.

3. Subjects (III person plural – They, Children) + have +
been + V (ing) + Object + for/since + Time.

(i) I, we, you, they तथा
बहुवचन संज्ञा शब्दों के कर्ता के
रूप में होने पर
have नियम been सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग करते
हैं।

(ii) He, she, it, this, that नाम
या एकवचन संज्ञा शब्द के कर्ता
के रूप में होने
पर has been सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग करते
हैं तथा MV की I form के साथ ing का
प्रयोग करते हैं।

(iii) निश्चित
समय बिन्दु; जैसे बजे, दिन,
महीने के नाम, सन्,
जन्म से, बचपन से,
प्रात: से, शाम से
आदि के साथ since का
प्रयोग करते हैं।

(iv) समय
की अवधि; जैसे घण्टे, दिन,
महीने, वर्ष की संख्या,
कई, बहुत दिन, महीने
वर्ष आदि के साथ
for का प्रयोग करते हैं।

Affirmative/Assertive Sentences ( स्वीकारात्मक वाक्य)

• मैं
  सात बजे से पढ़
  रहा हूँ। – I have been reading
  since seven o’clock.
• हम चार घण्टे से
  खेल रहे हैं। – We have been playing for four hours.
• तुम
  दिसम्बर से यहाँ रह
  रहे हो। – You have been living
  here since December.
• राम
  कई वर्ष से इस
  विद्यालय में पढ़ रहा
  है।– Ram has been
  studying in this school for many years.
• मेरे
  पिताजी 1980 से इस कार्यालय
  में काम कर रहे
  हैं।– My father has
  been working in this office since 1980.
•  वे चार बजे से
  मैदान में खेल रहे
  हैं। – They have been
  playing in the field since 4 o’clock.

Present perfect continuous अपवाद:-

1. आजकल
की अंग्रेजी भाषा जो अमेरिकन
इंग्लिश पर आधारित है
तथा अमेरिकन इंग्लिश भी वह, जो
निचले तबके के लोगों
की बोलचाल की भाषा है,
उसमें कई वाक्यांश ऐसे
हैं जिनमें उपर्युक्त नियमों का उल्लंघन किया
गया है तथा किसी
व्याकरण नियम की कोई
पालना नहीं की गई
है।

2. अंग्रेजी
में कुछ ऐसे वाक्यांश
हैं जहाँ उपर्युक्त नियमानुसार
निश्चित समय नहीं दर्शाया
गया है तदापि वहाँ
‘since’ का प्रयोग धड़ल्ले से किया जाता
है; क्योंकि निश्चित समय नहीं। दिखाने
के बावजूद दिये गये वाक्यांशों
से निश्चित समयावधि का आभास होता
है।

उदाहरण

बहुत
लम्बे अन्तराल तक आप नहीं
दिखे। – “Since
long time no see.” (Negative)

बहुत
समय से आपके बारे
में कुछ नहीं सुना।
– I haven’t heard anything about you since long. (Negative) (यहाँ पर कोई
भी निश्चित समय न होने
पर भी ‘since’ का प्रयोग हुआ
है।)

सुबह
से वर्षा हो रही है।
– It is raining since morning.

मैं कल रात
से सो नहीं सका
(पाया) । – I haven’t slept since
last night. (Negative)

Negative Sentences ( नकारात्मक
वाक्य)

पहचान
–Present Perfect Continuous Tense के नकारात्मक/निषेधात्मक वाक्यों में से नहीं
जा रहा है, रही
हैं, रहे हैं, रहे
हो तथा रहा हूँ
आदि शब्द आते हैं।

 

Rule:- Subject + has / have
not been + V + ing + Object + since/for Time.

नियम-
इस tense के निषेधात्मक वाक्यों
में subject + has/have
के बाद not तथा been सहायक क्रिया तथा MV में ing का प्रयोग करते
हैं;

Present perfect continuous negative sentence:-

• मैं
  जन्म से यहाँ नहीं
  रह रहा हूँ ।
  – I have not been living here since birth.
• हम
  1980 से जयपुर में नहीं रह
  रहे हैं। – We have not been
  living in Jaipur since 1980.
• तुम
  दो घण्टे से यह समाचार
  पत्र नहीं पढ़ रहे
  हो। – You have not
  been reading this newspaper for two hours.
• वह दो वर्ष से
  यहाँ नहीं पढ़ा रहा
  है। – He has not been
  teaching here for two years.
• मधु
  बहुत देर से यहाँ
  प्रतीक्षा नहीं कर रही
  है।– Madhu has not
  been waiting here for a long time.
• वे सवेरे से मैदान में
  नहीं खेल रहे हैं।
  – They have not been playing in the field since morning.
• लड़के
  पिछले कालांश से कक्षा में
  शोर नहीं मचा रहे
  हैं। – The boys have
  not been making a noise since last period in the class.

Interrogative Sentences ( प्रश्नवाचक
वाक्य)

पहचान
– वाक्य के प्रारम्भ में
‘क्या‘ शब्द का प्रयोग
किया जाता है। ये
प्रश्न सहायक क्रिया से प्रारम्भ होते
हैं।

Rule:-HV + (has have) +
Subject + been + M V ing + Object  + since
/ for Time ?

नियम 

(i) अगर वाक्य का कर्ता I we, you, they, these, those या बहुवचन संज्ञा
शब्द होते हैं तो
इनसे पहले have का प्रयोग करते
हैं।

(ii) अगर
वाक्य का कर्ता He, she, it, this, that नाम या एकवचन
संज्ञा शब्द हों तो
इनसे पहले has का सहायक क्रिया
के रूप में प्रयोग
करते हैं।

Rule:- Wh. + has have +
Subject + been + MV ing + Object + since/for Time?

नियम–

(i)
कर्ता के Person तथा Number के अनुसार Wh. के
पश्चात् Has/Have का प्रयोग करें।

(ii) जिस
प्रश्नवाचक शब्द से प्रश्न
बनाना हो उसे वाक्य
के प्रारम्भ में रख देते
हैं।

उदाहरण:-

  यहाँ कब से रह
  रहा हूँ? – How long have I been
  living here?
• हम
  1980 से कहाँ पढ़ रहे
  हैं? – Where have we
  been studying since 1980 ?
• तुम
  इस घर में 1990 से
  कैसे रह रहे हो?
  How have you been living in this house since 1990?
• इतनी
  देर से वह यहाँ
  क्या कर रहा है?
  – What has he been doing here for such a long time?
• रानी
  मेरी कब से प्रतीक्षा
  कर रही है? – How long has Rani been waiting for me?
• 1980 से
  यहाँ कौन रह रहा
  है? – Who has been
  living here since 1980?
• क्या
  मैं तीन घण्टे से
  पढ़ रहा हूँ? – Have I been studying for three hours?
• क्या
  हम 1980 से जयपुर में
  रह रहे हैं? – Have we been living in Jaipur since
  1980?
• क्या
  तुम चार दिन से
  बुखार से पीड़ित हो
  ? – Have you been suffering from fever for four days?
• क्या
  अध्यापक दो घण्टे से
  हिन्दी पढ़ा रहा है?
  – Has the teacher been teaching Hindi for two hours?
• क्या
  रानी दो बजे से
  गीत गा रही है?
  – Has Rani been singing songs since two o’clock?
• क्या
  वे सवेरे से खेत में
  काम कर रहे हैं?
  – Have they been working in the field since morning?

Interrogative Negative Sentences ( प्रश्नवाचक–नकारात्मक
वाक्य)

पहचान
– हिन्दी में वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक
के साथ–साथ निषेधात्मक
भी होता है। इसमें
‘नहीं‘का प्रयोग किया
जाता है।

Rule:- Has Have Subject + not
been + M V ing + Obj + since/for Time?

नियम
वाक्य के कर्ता के
अनुसार Has/Have सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग करते
हैं उसके उपरान्त कर्ता
फिर not तथा been और फिर मुख्य
क्रिया में ing का प्रयोग करते
हैं।

जैसे

नियम
इस वाक्य–रचना में सबसे
पहले प्रश्नवाचक शब्द सहायक क्रिया
(1 have) + कर्ता + not
+ been + मुख्य क्रिया में ing का प्रयोग करते

Negative Sentences
She has not been eating sweets for many years.	वह कई वर्षों से मिठाई नहीं खा रही है।
Alan has not been attending the class for many days. He is ill.	एलन कई दिनों से क्लास अटेंड नहीं कर रहा है। वह बीमार है।
Julia has not been visiting any friend. She is upset.	जूलिया किसी दोस्त से मिलने नहीं गई है। वह परेशान है।
The farmer has not been sowing crops for two years.	किसान दो साल से फसल नहीं बो रहा है।
She has not been living with her family for many years.	वह कई सालों से अपने परिवार के साथ नहीं रह रही है।
I have not been attending the business meeting for two months. I am ill.	मैं दो महीने से बिजनेस मीटिंग में शामिल नहीं हो रहा हूं। मैं बीमार हूं।
The mechanic has not been fixing the car for two days.	मैकेनिक दो दिन से कार ठीक नहीं कर रहा है।
She has not been cooking for many days. She has been hoteling.	वह कई दिनों से खाना नहीं बना रही है। वह होटल कर चुकी है।
He has not been reading mails.	वह मेल नहीं पढ़ रहा है।
You have not been carrying an umbrella. It has been raining all day.	आपने छाता नहीं रखा है। पूरे दिन बारिश हो रही है।

क्या भीड़ दोपहर से नारे लगा रही है?	Has the crowd been raising slogans since noon?
क्या आप इस घर में पांच साल से रह रहे हैं?	Have you been living in this house for five years?
क्या रात से हिमपात हो रहा है ?	Has it been snowing since night?
क्या वह पांच घंटे से कपड़े सिल रहा है? वह एक दर्जी है।	Has he been sewing clothes for five hours? He is a tailor.
क्या आप पांच साल से बुरे वक्त के लिए पैसे बचा रहे हैं?	Have you been saving money for bad times for five years?
